Kathleen's run 10/27, 6pm
Seriously, please everyone tell me this date works. I can move the start time, but if we move the date again I am going to cry. You don't want to see that. I am a pathetic crybaby.

It's good for me.
I'm pretty sure that it is fine with me.
6PM on a Saturday?
Yes, since Sundays are now a problem.
hey all...
please, PLEASE don't kill me. I cannot make it on the 27th. I thought I could, but as I went finalize plans with the missus, she reminded me of an all day event that she signed up for ages ago being on that day.
As I've said before, I am more than willing to bow out gracefully if necessary as I've been the big monkey wrench in the works for the last couple of months.
Do I want to miss Kathleen's run? No, not at all. I dig her as a person and as a gamer and am wildly interested to see what she has come up with. However, I also do not want to be the big drag on the group.
So, meet on the 27th if you have to. The only other alternative I can suggest is for y'all to drive out here to the middle of nowhere (Homer) and have the run at my house. WARNING: I have kids and a dog. =P
peace... Dave
Is everyone up for a road trip to Homer? I hate to leave Dave out if we can accomodate him.
I wouldn't mind road-tripping, if I could catch a ride with somebody.
I could give you a ride.
I do need directions, though.
Directions aren't a problem.
Take I-74 East from CU toward Danville/Indianapolis.
Drive east until you reach Exit #197 (Ogden/Royal).
At the end of the exit lane there will be a stop sign. Turn right (south).
Drive south past the Philips 66 and the school. You will reach a 4-way stop with the Pink House (bar) on your right. Continue south through the intersection.
5-6 miles later, you will reach Homer, Il. Keep driving south (now Main St.) past Casey's, Marathon, and Charlie's Grubb & Sudds. One block past Charlie's, just before the railroad tracks, will be Homer Bank. That will be the corner of Main St. & Wabash St. Turn right (east). If you've crossed the railroad tracks, you've gone too far south.
At the end of that block (corner of W. Wabash St a& S. West St.) is my house. 108 W. Wabash St. It's a grayish-blue house with a funky-looking castle tower on one coner of it.
That was the easy-take-the-highway set of directions. If needed, I can also give directions that will take you out of SE Urbana through the country and get you here. Those will also be pretty easy to follow, but involve a touch more turning.
ALSO -- BIG WARNING -- Our police force here in Homer is REALLY trigger-happy with their radar guns and they WILL pull you over for the littlest thing. If the sign says 35 MPH, go 28, just to be safe.
peace... Dave
