Start time
Would it be possible to move things a bit earlier in the day?
A good friend of mine is (suddenly) moving to California and is having a Halloween/going away party the evening of the 27th. It starts at 7pm. I don't need to be there at 7 or anything, but I do need to go to it, and would like to be not-too-late.

Hmmmm... I do work that day and earliest I can expect to be home is 1:30 PM. Throw in time for a shower and a little pick-up of the house, plus making the kids (and myself) some dinner, and I'm afraid the earliest I can have things set for is 4 P.M..
Would that work for you, Stuart, or do we need to try something else?

I really don't want to make Jeff cry, but that is sort of pushing it for me, particularly if we are meeting in Homer.
Alright, I'll try not to cry. But someone else please post a new proposed date in November or something. Any further attempt at schedule wrangling on my part will do irreparable harm to my psyche. Somebody else please take a turn.
