OK.

Let's try again.

Well... let's see...

Nov. 3rd -- Unavailable (CLUTCH in is concert at the Canopy and I'm planning on taking the wife.)

Nov. 10th -- Unavailable (Previous once a month RPG commitment)

Nov. 17th -- Tentative maybe.

Nov. 24th -- Saturday after T'giving. Will have worked that day and it will be uber-busy. I know I will be tired and don't know how up I will be for a game.

From my standpoint, it's looking like the 17th is the only available Saturday I have in November.

Well... as it stands, no one should hold their breath in regards to my weekend availability. Sundays became family days a bit ago and now Saturdays are in some danger of being occupied for a bit (seven weeks; from 11-03 to 12-15) due to a combination of the boy's basketball schedule and our commitment to a local competative league for the game WarMachine.

I ->LOVE<- it when real life conspires against me. =P

I'll update you when I know more. Should be the next day or so.

peace... Dave

Okay... the boy's grades came in and not only did not do poorly enough to get suspended from his basketball team, he made the honor roll. While this makes me a proud father, it also makes me a conflicted friend and gamer.

We norammly play WarMachine at Armored Gopher Games on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Well, due to schduling, the boy has games practically every Tuesday this season, barring him from attending WM on those days. This leaves Saturday for him to play. As a father, I cannot and will not be selfish enough to deny him his only chance to play during the week while I go get my game on.

I profusely apologize, but my Saturdays have now been sucked up for the next three months due to this. I also have a previously menetioned once-a-month RPG commitment that must be set aside as well.

If we can somehow work out something during the week (I'm free Mondays, Thursdays, and most Fridays), then cool. Otherwise, I'm afraid I cannot continue to participate.

peace... Dave

Given what's happening with schedules (mine may be getting crazier as well) do we want to declare this a wrap? That's cool by me.

It seems like this scheduling isn't getting us anywhere. Kathleen, if you've gotten anywhere with preparing for your turn as GM I would encourage you to submit it as a Winter War event, especially if you were going to use a new and hip system.

I do plan to run at Winter War, but not that game. I think for my first stab at GMing for the general public I'll just do one event, the LARP I've been promising since last year.

I'm certainly hanging on to my notes, though. I can always run it another year.
